Yes. Knittable AI handles cables, colorwork, lace, and textured stitch patterns. The output includes a proper stitch chart for anything visual, using standard symbols knitters already recognise.

How accurate is the sizing?

Patterns include an AI-generated gauge target, not an independently verified stitch-count audit. Swatch and check the fit before knitting. Hobbyist accounts get XS to 3XL, seven adult sizes; Studio and Pro get XS to 5XL, nine adult sizes, plus baby newborn to 24 months and child 2 to 12 years. Studio and Pro subscribers can also enter custom measurements.

Can I adjust the pattern after it's generated?

Yes. After generating a pattern, use the Tweak panel to refine it as many times as you like. Describe what to change (add a hood, switch yarn weight, make it top-down) and the knitting AI applies your feedback instantly. Each refinement costs 1 credit. You can also start fresh with a new prompt at any time.

What yarn weights does it support?

All standard weights: lace, fingering, sport, DK, worsted, bulky, super-bulky. Just mention the weight in your prompt, or let the AI suggest one based on the garment you describe.

Is my first pattern really free?

Yes. Hobbyist accounts get 5 credits per month at no cost, forever. No credit card needed to start. Each credit generates one complete pattern with stitch chart. Studio ($12/month) gives you 30 credits plus PDF export and custom measurements. Pro ($29/month) gives you 100 credits, commercial use, and unbranded exports.

Can I use my own measurements instead of standard sizes?

Studio and Pro subscribers can enter a full set of body measurements and every pattern is graded to fit them exactly. Hobbyist accounts get standard size grading (XS to 3XL, seven adult sizes).
